Emily Hartford

Emily Hartford is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Director of Governance, Planning and Risk at Irving Oil since December 2016. Previously, Emily held various managerial roles at Irving Oil, including Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis and Inventory Accounting, and Manager of Inventory Movement and General Accounting. Prior to joining Irving Oil, Emily worked at Deloitte Canada as a Senior Manager and Manager from August 2011 to December 2016. In addition, Emily contributed to academia as a part-time instructor for BA 1216 - Accounting for Managers at the University of New Brunswick, Saint John, in late 2012. Emily's educational background includes a Chartered Accountant designation from the Atlantic School of Chartered Accountancy (2006-2007) and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from the University of New Brunswick (2004-2006), having started studies at Saint Mary's University (2002-2004).
