Gareth Thorburn

Gareth Thorburn is a seasoned professional in trading and technology, currently employed at ISAM (International Standard Asset Management) since April 2019. Prior to this, Gareth served as a Consultant in eFX at Crédit Agricole CIB, where responsibilities included eFX algo pricing and hedging, and as a Consultant at Equal Experts focusing on electronic payments. Gareth's extensive experience also includes a Director role at Citi from February 2011 to April 2016, overseeing eFX algo pricing, hedging, and credit eTrading across corporate bonds and CDS. Earlier career achievements were marked at Deutsche Bank, where Gareth held the position of Director, managing electronic pricing and trading systems for Bonds and Swaps. Academically, Gareth holds a Ph.D. and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Dundee, earned between 1990 and 1998.
