Ian Moreton PhD, FRM has extensive work experience in risk management and product engineering. From 2012 to present, they have been the Head of Risk Management at ISAM. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2011, they served as the Product Engineering - Head of Product Modelling & Client Solutions at Man Investments. Earlier in their career, from 1998 to 1999, they worked as a Business Analyst - Capital Markets Group at Ernst & Young.
Ian Moreton obtained their BSc in Mathematics, Class 1, from the University of Leeds, where they studied from 1991 to 1994. Ian then pursued a PhD in Statistics at the same university, completing it from 1994 to 1998. In July 2017, Ian obtained the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification from the GARP FRM Program.
