Jonas Gieseke

Jonas Gieseke has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2009 as a Trainee at Arnold Jäger Holding GmbH, followed by a Trainee role at IAV GmbH. In 2011, they worked as a Work Student at Ostfalia - University of Applied Sciences, and in 2012 they were a Masters Student at IAV GmbH. From 2013 to 2022, they worked as an Automotive Engineer in control technology at IAV GmbH, and currently holds the role of Control Engineer at ISEE, an autonomous driving technology company.

Jonas Gieseke received their Master of Engineering (MEng) in Systems Engineering from Ostfalia - University of Applied Sciences in 2013, after having completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechatronics from the same institution in 2011. Jonas has also obtained a number of certifications, including a Basic Cruising Certification from the American Sailing Association in 2021, a Basic Keelboat Certification from the American Sailing Association in 2020, an Aircraft Flight Instructor SPL from the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure in 2013, an EASA SPL (Sailplane and Motorglider Pilot licence) from the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure in 2005, and a Pilot Radio licence (BZF 2) from the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure in 2003.
