Wendy Li has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several years. Wendy began their career in 1991 as a Software Engineer at the Institute of Computer Application & Simulation Technology, China Aerospace Co. Wendy then moved on to Lotus Development, IBM, where they served as a Regional Education Specialist. In 1997, they joined Network Connections UK as a Senior Developer. Wendy then transitioned to SinoFile Information Ltd. in 2000, where they held the role of IT Director for nearly a decade. Wendy later joined Sentia Media in 2009, first as an Operations Manager and then as a Research, Development & Delivery Director.

Wendy Li obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. Later, they attended the University of Liverpool from 2002 to 2005, where they pursued Computer Science without obtaining a degree.
