Colleen McAleer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community leadership and environmental advocacy. Currently serving as a member of the Cornell University President's Council since June 2012, Colleen advises on university-related issues and collaborates with the College of Human Ecology. As President of the Laurelhurst Community Club, Colleen addresses vital local concerns, including land use and public safety. Additionally, Colleen is involved with the Save Union Bay Association to enhance water quality and habitat, and owns Environmental Analysis and Design, providing consulting on land use and environmental matters. Colleen has previously held leadership roles in various organizations, contributing to sustainable development and community well-being, including a founding partnership with Social Venture Partners Seattle and advocacy work for the Washington State 520 Mediation. Colleen's educational background includes an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the UW Foster School of Business and a BS in Human Ecology from Cornell University.
