Jessie Ryan

Jessie Ryan possesses extensive experience in education and environmental conservation, with a current role as a Graduate Student/Instructor at IslandWood since August 2016. As a Primary Teacher at KidsCentre, Inc. since February 2014, Jessie focuses on developing thematic curricula for young children, promoting holistic development through hands-on activities. Previous roles include Educational Instructor at Woodland Park Zoo, Camp Counselor at Tampa Bay Watch, and Intern/Island Keeper with the US Fish and Wildlife Service. Jessie has a strong academic background with a Master of Education in Science Education from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Fish and Wildlife Conservation from the University of Connecticut.
