Peter Cox has over 25 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry and academia. Peter most recently served as the Head of Translational Sciences at Isomorphic Labs since 2024. Prior to that, they worked at BenevolentAI from 2016 to 2023, holding roles as Vice President (Drug Discovery) and Associate Exploratory Director. From 2001 to 2015, they worked at Pfizer Neusentis as an Associate Research Fellow and Senior Principal Scientist. Before that, they were a Senior Scientist at Parke Davis Neuroscience Research Centre from 1999 to 2001. Peter began their career as a Post Doc at Cambridge University from 1998 to 1999, and later at INSERM in Paris, France from 1995 to 1998.
Peter Cox obtained a PhD in Molecular Virology from the University of Glasgow, where they studied between 1991 and 1995. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Microbiology from the University of Galway. The exact duration of their undergraduate degree is unknown.
