Andrea Gurcsik, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has over 25 years of experience in human resources. Andrea is currently serving as the Director of Human Resources & Employee Experience at ITC Holdings Corp. Prior to this, they held various leadership roles at First Solar, including Director of Human Resources and Senior Manager of Global Talent Acquisition & Employment Branding. Andrea has also worked as the Director of Human Resources at TolTest, Inc., where they provided HR support and leadership globally. Additionally, they have experience in academia, having taught Human Resources Training & Development classes as an Adjunct Professor at The University of Toledo. Andrea began their HR career as a Human Resource Assistant/Recruiter at Alternative Management Resources, Inc. Throughout their career, they have developed and implemented strategies for talent management, talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, and more.

Andrea Gurcsik, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has a Master's of Business Administration in Management from The University of Toledo. Andrea also holds a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Human Resource Management from the same university. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained several certifications including Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing and National Diversity Council Certified Diversity Professional (NDCCDP) from the National Diversity Council. Andrea is also certified as a Society for Human Resource Management-Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and holds Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certifications from the HR Certification Institute. Andrea has further certification as a TopGrading Facilitator from ghSMART.
