Saurabh Kar

Saurabh Kar is an experienced finance professional currently serving as VP and Head of Finance Operations for the Paperboard and Specialty Papers Division at ITC Limited since September 1999. In addition, Saurabh holds a dual role as the first Finance Member of the Research Management Committee, focusing on R&D Vision and Strategy. Previous positions at ITC include Head of Accounts for the Central Projects Organisation and Commercial Manager for Capex in the Cigarette Business, where significant cost savings were achieved. Early career experience includes roles at Deloitte Haskins & Sells as Audit Manager and at HUDCO as Trainee Officer in Finance. Saurabh holds various degrees, including a Senior Executive Leadership Program from Harvard Business School, and qualifications as a Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary, and Cost Accountant.
