Alexander Nyßen

Alexander Nyßen has extensive experience in digital engineering and IoT systems, currently serving as Executive Vice President at itemis since February 2009. As the head of the Competence Center for IoT Systems, Alexander oversees all services and staff related to holistic IoT solutions. Previous positions at itemis include Regional Director, Branch Manager, and Principal Engineer, with responsibilities encompassing office management and team leadership. Additionally, Alexander served as a Committer and Project Lead for the Graphical Editing Framework at the Eclipse Foundation from April 2010 to June 2023, contributing to both the Planning and Architecture Councils. Academically, Alexander has a Dr. rer. nat. in Computer Science and a Dipl.-Inform. in Computer Science from RWTH Aachen University.
