Engel Rivas also holds the position of Cyber Security Director - CISO at Banco Agrícola Dominicano, overseeing the development and management of cybersecurity strategies aligned with national regulations. Engaging in academia, Engel Rivas teaches various cybersecurity courses at multiple institutions including ITLA and Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo. Previous roles include IT & CyberRisk Manager at Banco Santa Cruz RD and IT Security Manager at Grupo Sención, among others. Engel Rivas's educational background includes advanced studies from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and master's and engineering degrees from prominent universities.
