Christian Mühlroth has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Christian started their career in 2008 at Bayern Innovativ GmbH, where they worked as an Event- and Project Manager for three years. In 2013, they joined Siemens as an External Consultant for a short period. In 2014, they worked at Thales as an External Consultant, leading a change management project. In 2015, they became the Chief Operating Officer at ITONICS - The Innovation OS and held the position until 2018. Christian then served as the Chief Commercial Officer until 2021. Currently, Christian Mühlroth is the Chief Executive Officer at ITONICS - The Innovation OS. Additionally, they are a Member of KI Bundesverband e.V., the largest AI network in Germany, where they connect innovative AI and deep tech companies with business and politics.

Christian Mühlroth has a Doctor of Philosophy (Dr. rer. pol.) degree in Statistics and Machine Learning from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg. Prior to obtaining their doctorate, they also completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in International Information Systems (IIS) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Studies, both from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg. Additionally, they hold a certification as an iSQI® Certified Professional for Project Management, which they obtained in June 2014 from iSQI GmbH.
