Mikel Lantero Escartin has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Mikel began their career at ITP in 2004 as the Chief Design Engineer for the Low Pressure Turbine Trent 900. In 2008, they became the Chief Engineer for the Low Pressure Turbine Trent XWB and later for the Trent 500/900/1000(A-B). In 2014, Mikel joined ITP Aero as the Pratt & Whitney Canada Business Director. Mikel then took on the role of Executive Director of the Civil Business Unit, where they managed business relationships with key clients such as Pratt & Whitney, General Electric, and Honeywell. Mikel's expertise in the industry and their proven leadership make him a valuable asset to any organization.
Mikel Lantero Escartin obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Mechanical Engineering from Escuela Superior Ingenieros Industriales Bilbado in 1997. In 1998, they pursued a Master of Science in Thermal Power at Cranfield University. In 2019, they attended the IESE Business School for the Programa Dirección Directivos.
