Liam Hänel has a diverse work experience starting from 2013. Liam began as a Freelance Designer, working for clients such as Blockchain Global and Birdlife Australia. In 2016, they founded Lyra, an advanced carbon emissions tracking system. Liam also co-created Treeferral (previously Plantyflix), a tree planting subscription and referral program. Additionally, Liam served as the CEO & Co-Founder of Nul, a company focused on helping teams offset their employees' carbon footprints. Liam has also worked as the Head of Design at Playbook Media, where they developed growth strategies for various clients. Furthermore, they have been actively involved with the G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance, serving as an Australian Delegate in 2017 and 2018. Currently, Liam is the Co-Founder and COO of Ivy Protocol, an operating system for scaling climate projects.

Liam Hänel's education history includes completing a Bachelor of Design in Communication Design at Swinburne University of Technology from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, they also pursued a Bachelor of Design in Communication Design at Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences from 2012 to 2013.
