Heather Simmons is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in healthcare project coordination and interprofessional practice. Currently serving as Project Coordinator and Project Lead for Models of Care at IWK Health since April 2008, Heather has successfully developed, implemented, and evaluated a Provincial Collaborative Care Model. Previously, Heather held the positions of Manager of Interprofessional Practice and Professional Development Coordinator at IWK Health Centre from August 2000 to April 2008. Heather's academic background includes a Master's degree in Nursing from Dalhousie University, completed between 1999 and 2007, and studies at the Halifax Infirmary School of Nursing from 1981 to 1983.
