Chelsea Sun has a background in product and UX/UI design. Chelsea started working at IXL Learning in 2017, where they initially served as a UX/UI Designer on the Content team. In this role, they focused on creating intuitive and engaging question types and interaction methods for students and children. Chelsea collaborated closely with curriculum designers and front-end developers to ensure the implementation of design specifications. Chelsea later transitioned to the role of Product Designer at IXL Learning in 2023.
Prior to their time at IXL Learning, Chelsea worked as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2016 to 2017. In 2015, they also gained experience as an Interaction Designer Intern at GE Appliances.
Chelsea Sun attended the University of Washington from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Informatics. From 2014 to 2017, they pursued a Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
