Harriet Small has a diverse work experience in the technology and education sectors. Harriet first started their career as a Teaching Assistant at Brown University in 2016, where they updated and improved assignments for an introductory computer science course. Harriet then worked as a Research Intern at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs in 2017, exploring techniques for training neural networks. Harriet further enhanced their teaching skills as the Head Teaching Assistant at Brown University in the same year, managing a team of undergraduate teaching assistants and improving the administrative and academic aspects of an introductory programming course.
