Mark Davis has a vast work experience in the field of software engineering and education. Mark started their career in 2003 as an Assistant Professor at Notre Dame de Namur University. In 2005, they joined Oracle Corporation as a Senior Member of Technical Staff, where they worked until 2007.
At Google, Mark worked as a Software Engineer from August 2007 to May 2022, gaining significant expertise in the field. Mark then moved on to IXL Learning in January 2023, where they currently hold the position of Senior Software Engineer.
Mark Davis completed their Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Waterloo between 1989 and 1994. Following this, they pursued a doctoral degree in Mathematics at the University of California, Berkeley from 1997 to 2003, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree.
