Matthew Bleecher began their work experience as a Mathematics Teacher at Bishop Byrne Middle and High School in 2003. Matthew then moved on to work as a Mathematics Teacher at Pensacola Catholic High School from 2006-2008. Following this, they worked as a Mathematics Teacher at the American Overseas School of Rome from 2008-2011. Matthew then became the Head of Mathematics Department at Dresden International School from 2011-2013. Subsequently, they worked as a Mathematics Teacher at Lafayette High School from 2013-2015. Currently, Matthew is employed as a Mathematics Curriculum Designer at IXL Learning, starting from 2015.
Matthew Bleecher earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame, which they attended from 1999 to 2003. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Christian Brothers University from 2003 to 2005. In March 2013, they obtained a Teaching Certificate from the Louisiana Department of Education.
