Mingyue Fan has a diverse work experience starting from an internship as a Data Analyst at WiseInsight Big Data Technology, where they utilized Tableau and Python to analyze datasets and create visualizations. They then worked as a Research Assistant at UC Irvine, conducting feature engineering on weather and baseball data to model the effects of baseball's shape and texture on performance. Following this, Mingyue worked at the University of California, Berkeley, focusing on measurements in machine learning and building tools to automate various machine learning tasks. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at IXL Learning since February 2023.
Mingyue Fan pursued their Master of Engineering (MEng) in Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Irvine, where they attended from 2017 to 2021.
