Shinta Salim has a diverse and extensive work experience in software engineering. Shinta is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at IXL Learning, starting in July 2023.
Prior to that, they worked at thredUP from 2013 to 2022. At thredUP, they held multiple roles including Staff Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer (Android), showcasing their expertise in various areas of software development and engineering.
Before joining thredUP, Shinta worked at Juniper Networks as a SOFTWARE ENGINEER 2 from 2010 to 2012. Shinta played a critical role in building a security suite application for the Android platform and actively collaborated with development teams to provide technical feedback and guidance.
Additionally, they gained valuable experience at SMobile Systems, where they worked as a Junior Software Developer (Windows Mobile / iPhone) from 2009 to 2010. Shinta also served as a Software Developer Intern from 2008 to 2009 at the same company. During their time at SMobile Systems, Shinta contributed to the development and enhancement of Windows Mobile security suite application and conducted research for iPhone application development.
Shinta Salim attended Columbus State Community College from 2005 to 2006, pursuing undergraduate studies. Shinta then went on to The Ohio State University from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Science.
