Maura Flanagan

Maura Flanagan serves as the Senior Development Manager at Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) since September 2022. Previously, Flanagan held the role of Grants and Foundations Manager at Project Hope from January 2020 to September 2022, where responsibilities included raising $2 million annually and cultivating support from foundations and corporations. Flanagan's experience also encompasses fund development at The Community Builders, Inc. as Manager of Fund Development from September 2016 to January 2020, and resource development at The Neighborhood Developers as a Resource Development Associate from April 2015 to July 2016. Earlier roles include Child Advocate at Central Massachusetts Housing Alliance, Research Assistant for the Shannon Community Safety Initiative Research Team, Legislative Aide to State Senator Michael Moore, Campaign Manager for the Committee to Re-Elect Harriette Chandler, and a Case-Work Intern with Senator Edward M. Kennedy's office. Flanagan holds a B.A. in Political Science and Peace and Conflict Studies from the College of the Holy Cross and a Master of Arts in Community Development and Planning from Clark University.
