After that, they worked as a Systems Designer at Central Illinois Truss from 2006 to 2009, focusing on commercial and residential roof and floor system design. Dan then joined Nelson Global Products as an Engineer, where they collaborated with customers, created cost modeling, and sourced packaging and designs. From 2013 to 2019, Dan worked at LandCo as a Land Specialist, utilizing their sales and creative skills to create content and marketing materials. Dan also served as a Marketing, E-commerce Manager at Presleys Outdoors from 2014 to 2019, where they managed multiple e-commerce sites, marketing campaigns, and community outreach. In 2014, Dan became an Executive Board Member at Hooked on Fishing Park, a non-profit organization, focusing on program development, fundraising, volunteer coordination, and event planning.
