Michael Aubourg

Michael Aubourg currently serves as the Global Head of M&A and Strategy for JAB Pet Holdings, having joined the company in February 2021 as employee #2 of its pet insurance platform. In this role, Michael oversees the global pet insurance M&A and strategy roadmap, including the identification of targets and execution of acquisitions, which include notable companies such as Pet Partners and Figo Pet Insurance. Additionally, Michael holds board member positions at Spot Pet Insurance, Vet-AI, and Pumpkin. Prior experience includes roles at Alken Asset Management, Credit Suisse, Lazard, and the International Monetary Fund. Michael holds a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics in Economics and Finance from Harvard University and a Master of Science in Engineering from CentraleSupélec, along with various other academic qualifications.
