Doug Cook

Doug Cook is the SVP & CTO at Jack in the Box. Doug was previously the Chief Information Officer at Pizza Hut from July 2019 to December 2020. In this role, they were responsible for restaurant technology and data systems for 6000 US restaurant locations, 120 franchise groups, and over $8.5B in sales. Doug provided strong leadership and culture with a focus on attracting, motivating, and developing best-in-class talent; 250 full-time employees and consultants with budget accountability of $50+ million. Doug also created and drove a technology strategy with an emphasis on delivering transformational change that aligned with the company’s strategic vision. Doug Cook has also overseen a significant portfolio of in-house application development as well as key package implementations and vendor products. Doug has enabled the development and delivery of the digital technology plan representing 60% of company’s overall revenue. Additionally, they have defined and implemented next-generation strategy for in-restaurant technologies and data-driven initiatives.

Doug Cook earned their Masters in Information Sciences from Penn State University and their Masters in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Statistics from the University of Central Oklahoma. Doug earned their Bachelor's degree in Applied Arts and Sciences from Midwestern State University.
