Steve Jacobs

Steve Jacobs is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate securities and finance. Currently serving as a Partner at Jackson Walker LLP since January 2017, Jacobs has successfully represented a publicly-traded energy company in significant offerings exceeding $300 million in common stock and assisted a privately-held construction company in a $250 million Rule 144A senior notes issuance. Prior to this role, Jacobs held the position of Shareholder at Winstead PC from February 2015 to January 2017, and previously served as a Partner at Jackson Walker L.L.P. from January 2006 to January 2015, as well as a Shareholder at Cox & Smith from 1987 to 2006. Jacobs earned a Juris Doctorate and an MBA from Tulane University Law School, completing studies from 1983 to 1987.
