Donya Jasteh

Donya Jasteh has extensive experience in systems engineering and product architecture, currently serving as Systems Engineering Manager and Product Architect for Assisted and Automated Driving at JLR since January 2016. Donya leads a team in the design and delivery of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, employing a Model Based System Engineering approach. Previous roles at JLR include ADAS Systems Engineering Team Lead, GDPR Champion, and ADAS Technical Project Lead, focusing on the development of innovative driver assistance technologies. Prior to JLR, Donya was a Research Engineer at the University of Birmingham, where significant contributions included developing a high-resolution imaging radar prototype and mentoring students. Educational credentials include a PhD in Low-THz Radar Image Analysis for Automotive Terrain Sensing, an MPhil, and an MEng in Electronic and Communications Engineering from the University of Birmingham, alongside a Systems Engineering Management degree from UCL.
