Lucas Parr

Lucas Parr is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Lead Prototype Manufacturing Engineer at Jaguar Land Rover since March 2014, where involvement includes optimizing design for manufacture within the facilities planning team. Prior to this role, Lucas worked as a New Crane Contracts Engineer at Demag Cranes & Components GmbH, managing all aspects of new overhead gantry crane installations from order confirmation to customer handover. Earlier experience includes serving as a Project Engineer at Sims Metal Management Limited, managing engineering projects for recycling plant installations, and participating in a graduate scheme as a Trainee Manager. Lucas began a career in engineering with an undergraduate placement at Delphi Diesel Systems, focusing on process improvement projects. Academic qualifications include a MEng in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Warwick.
