Sunil Prasad

Sunil Prasad is an experienced electrical and power electronics engineer, currently serving as an EMC Lead Engineer at JLR since January 2022, where responsibilities include developing simulation models for conducted emission analysis in inverter control and power boards. Prior roles at JLR encompass Product Owner and Technical Lead positions focusing on HV electrical and power electronics simulation and charging system performance, significantly contributing to the development of DC charging pathways and system reliability. Sunil has a background in leading system-level requirements implementation for next-generation charging features at Jaguar Land Rover and project management for electrification initiatives at FEV India Pvt Ltd. Previous experience includes technical leadership roles at Mercedes Benz and Tata Motors, focusing on electric drivetrain development and advanced engineering projects. Sunil holds a Master of Technology in Power Electronics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology.
