Vanessa Smith

Vanessa Smith is an experienced educator specializing in English language and literacy. Currently serving as a High School English Teacher at Jamaica College since September 2022, Vanessa also works as a Literacy Tutor at Elite Gems Early Childhood and as a Lower School and CSEC English Language Tutor at Jamaica College, both positions held since December 2021. Prior to these roles, Vanessa spent seven years as a High School English Teacher at YWCA SLI and YWCA School Leavers' Institute. Vanessa holds a Master of Arts in English Language, Literacy, and Literature from The Mico University College, obtained in September 2021, and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literacy from the same institution, completed in May 2014.
