Joel Nelson

Joel Nelson is an experienced aviation and military professional, currently serving as Captain at Caverton Offshore Support Group Plc since June 2023. With a long tenure at the Jamaica Defence Force that began in September 2004, Joel has held various roles including Officer Commanding Jamaica Defence Force Air Wing Reserve, Helicopter Instructor Pilot, Reserve Officer, Military Pilot, Military Officer, and Second in Command of the Support and Services Battalion. Joel's education includes a brief period at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in 2005 and a Master of Science in National Security Policy Studies from The University of the West Indies, completed in April 2023.
