Benjamin Ryan Ph.D.

Benjamin Ryan, PhD, MPH, REHS, currently serves as a Professor at Belmont University and a Researcher at The Meros Center. With extensive experience in academia and public health, Benjamin also holds the position of Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at James Cook University and has been a Trainer at the UNDRR's Global Education and Training Institute since 2016. Benjamin previously served as the Past-President of the Association of Environmental Health Academic Programs and held various academic and clinical roles at Baylor University and the Daniel K. Inouye Asia Pacific Center for Security Studies. Additional expertise includes disaster coordination at Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service and program coordination for the International Federation Of Environmental Health. Educational qualifications include a PhD from James Cook University, a Master's in Public Health from the University of Wollongong, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health from Griffith University.
