Carol Dudding is a seasoned educator with extensive experience in speech-language pathology. Currently serving as a Professor and Program Director for online MS programs in speech-language pathology at James Madison University since January 2006, Carol oversees a program established through collaborative university efforts in 2005. Prior experience includes roles as Assistant Professor and Graduate Program Director at Longwood University, where development of a Master's degree program in speech-language pathology took place, and as an Assistant Professor at the University of Virginia, where Carol secured a grant to create a collaborative online master's program aimed at increasing the number of qualified speech-language pathologists in public schools. Carol holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Educational/Instructional Technology from the University of Virginia, a Master of Science (M.S.) in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Virginia.
