Holly Yanacek, PhD, currently serves as a Research Development Associate and REDI Fellow at James Madison University since August 2017, in addition to holding the position of Associate Professor of German. Previously, Holly Yanacek held roles as Visiting Assistant Professor of German and Andrew W. Mellon Predoctoral Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh between 2015 and 2017. Additional experience includes a Fulbright U.S. Student Graduate Research Fellowship with the German-American Fulbright Commission, and a research position at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development. Holly Yanacek's academic career began at the University of Pittsburgh, with positions ranging from Graduate Research Assistant to Graduate Teaching Fellow. Holly Yanacek obtained a PhD in German Studies from the University of Pittsburgh, along with a Master's degree in the same field, and a Bachelor's degree from Heidelberg University.
