Xavier Joyner is an experienced basketball coach currently serving as the Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at James Madison University since April 2020. Previously, Xavier held the same position at Mount St. Mary's University from June 2018 to April 2020, and at Paul VI High School from July 2015 to May 2018. Additionally, Xavier contributed as an Assistant Basketball Coach for Nike Team Takeover, achieving notable successes including a national ranking of #1 in 2016 and championship titles at the Las Vegas FAB 48 and Nike EYBL Peach Jam Final Four. As Head Men's Basketball Coach at Prince George's Community College from May 2010 to May 2015, Xavier led the team to NJCAA Region 20 Championships in 2015, 2014, and 2012. Prior coaching experience includes serving as Head Men's Basketball Coach at Montgomery College from April 2000 to May 2010, where the team won NJCAA District 7 Championships in 2008 and NJCAA Region 20 Championships in both 2008 and 2010. Xavier holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Marketing from Husson University.
