Coy Mozingo, MHRM, SHRM-CP, currently serves as the Director of Human Resources & Professional Development at the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation, supporting the Executive Director and providing expertise on HR policies, labor laws, and best practices. Previously, Coy held the role of Senior Human Resources Generalist for the City of Newport News, earning the IPMA-HR Agency Award for Excellence in 2020 for initiatives focused on workforce diversity. Coy has also worked as a Human Resources Generalist at Burlington Medical LLC, enhancing regulatory compliance and performance management, and has held various managerial positions in retail, developing skills in recruitment and training. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Human Resource Management from Colorado State University Global and a Bachelor’s in Business and Commerce from The University of Alabama.
