Geert Koch

Geert Koch is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the maritime and construction sectors. Currently serving as the Commercial Manager for Maritime Concessions at Jan De Nul Group since March 2021, Geert previously held significant roles at C.I. Prodeco S.A. from November 2011 to December 2020, including General Manager overseeing a 26Mtpa coal export terminal, Operations Manager for port operations, and Marine Construction Manager for the Puerto Nuevo coal terminal project. Geert's expertise encompasses HSEQ performance, asset management of USD$530M in port infrastructure, competency management, and stakeholder engagement. Geert began their career at Jan De Nul Group in various managerial positions, including Project Manager, Works Manager, and Operational Superintendent. Geert holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from KU Leuven, obtained in 2005.
