- Collaborate with the team to design, develop, and implement new features into an existing PHP application, enhancing the product line to meet evolving customer needs.
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues and bugs, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Provide general support to the team, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation within the PHP application environment.
To be considered for this position, you must have the following qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in PHP development, with a strong understanding of PHP frameworks and best practices.
- Understanding of MVC design patterns
- Experience working with legacy code,
- Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
- Strong analytical skills to investigate and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new challenges and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fast learner with a can-do attitude and exceptional problem-solving abilities
- Self-sufficient, proactive, and comfortable working collaboratively on remote projects
- Experience in a client-facing role managing and delivering software engineering projects
- English skills (ability to effectively communicate via written and spoken English)
- A degree in computer science (or equivalent)
