Chris Hendrix

Chris Hendrix is an experienced software engineer specializing in software development and engineering solutions. Currently serving as a Software Engineer at January since January 2025, and previously holding the position of Staff Software Engineer at Emissary.io from January 2022 to December 2024, Chris contributed significantly to the development of high-impact features and the migration of applications to improve operational efficiency. Prior experience includes a tenure as Lead Engineer at Jensen Hughes, where projects focused on seismic risk assessments and NLP applications in nuclear power. Chris also served as a Teaching Assistant at MIT while earning a Master of Engineering in Seismic Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the same institution.
