Clemens Tan Ho Liat currently serves as the Country Head of Japfa Vietnam and the Commercial Director for South Asia and Indochina at JAPFA COMFEED VIETNAM, a position held since November 2020. Previously, Clemens was the Managing Director for Greater China and Taiwan at Cargill Investments (China) Ltd. from March 2016 to September 2020, and prior to that held various leadership roles within Cargill Investments in China and Indonesia, including Group Director and General Manager. Clemens began a career in the industry as a Technical Sales Specialist at Cargill Feed Sdn. Bhd. in 1991, progressing through different managerial roles over the years. Educationally, Clemens holds a Bachelor of Fisheries Sciences (Aquaculture) degree from Universiti Pertanian Malaysia.

Japfa has been present in Vietnam since 1996 through a joint venture with the Vietnam Livestock Corporation. In 1999, Japfa became a 100% foreign-invested enterprise under the name Japfa Comfeed Vietnam Co., Ltd. Currently, the company operates 8 feed mills, over 1,600 poultry and swine farms, with a network of 20 retail outlets distributing Japfa Best brand fresh meat and processed food products.
