Leah Ellis

Leah Ellis has extensive experience in import and compliance operations, currently serving as Corporate Compliance Operations Manager at JAS Worldwide since December 2008, after having transitioned from the role of Corporate Compliance Specialist. Prior experience includes positions such as LCHB/Import Manager at JAS Forwarding USA Inc and Import Coordinator roles at multiple companies, including Ghedi and EMO Trans. Leah's career began at Maersk Line, where responsibilities spanned the Export and Intermodal Departments. In addition to logistics experience, Leah has worked as a nanny and camp counselor, showcasing a diverse skill set. Educational qualifications include studies at Houston Community College and Houston Christian University, alongside a high school diploma from Alief Hastings High School.
