Tobias Hermann is a Tech Lead in Machine Learning and Data Science at JAUMO since February 2018, with expertise in big data, recommender systems, image analysis, and deep learning, utilizing technologies such as Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, Kotlin, Rust, Python, Scala, Spark, and BigQuery. Previously, Tobias held the role of Machine Learning Engineer at the same company, focusing on similar areas. Prior experience includes serving as a Systems Engineer at AXON Machine Vision GmbH & Co. KG from October 2007 to January 2018, where high-performance image recognition systems were developed using C++, alongside Python, Haskell, and Elm for various software projects. Earlier experience includes software development as a student employee at SFi Software GmbH, creating application software, including crane controller systems. Tobias holds a Diploma in Computer Engineering from Cologne University of Applied Sciences and completed an Abitur with advanced courses in mathematics and physics at Städtisches Gymnasium Moltkestraße Gummersbach.
