Jazz at Lincoln Center
Rory Darian Suggs is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public programs, special projects, and development management within the nonprofit sector. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Public Programs at Park Avenue Armory since May 2019, Rory has also held a long-term role as Senior Manager of Special Projects and Events at Jazz at Lincoln Center since February 2012, where responsibilities include overseeing an annual revenue goal exceeding $1 million. Rory's background includes positions such as Senior Development Manager and Development Manager at various organizations, contributing to fundraising, donor cultivation, and event coordination. Rory holds a B.A. in English from Morehouse College, obtained in 2003.

The mission of Jazz at Lincoln Center is to entertain, enrich and expand a global community for Jazz through performance, education and advocacy. Representing the totality of jazz music, Jazz at Lincoln Center’s mission is carried out through four elements; educational, curatorial, archival, and ceremonial, capturing, in unparalleled scope, the full spectrum of the jazz experience. With the world-renowned Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra and guest artists spanning genres and generations, Jazz at Lincoln Center produces thousands of performance, education, and broadcast events each season. Jazz at Lincoln Center is led by Managing and Artistic Director Wynton Marsalis, and Executive Director Greg Scholl.
