Jawad Bashir has over a decade of experience working at Jazz. Jawad started in 2008 as a Specialist for IP Enterprise Network operations, where they were responsible for handling VPNs, planning/configuring/management of corporate LAN/WAN data infrastructure, providing network support to nationwide offices, analyzing connectivity issues, and escalating technical issues to vendors. In 2018, they became an Expert in Transport Operations Carrier, Enterprise & IP. Jawad'sresponsibilities included ensuring smooth operation and maintenance of various networks, capacity planning and expansion, defining and maintaining VPN tunnels, and providing support to franchisees. In 2020, they took on the role of Team Lead for Transport E2E Operation's and Audit, where they continued to oversee network operations, capacity planning, and VPN support for corporate customers.
Jawad Bashir holds a Master's degree in Mobile and Pervasive computing from Newcastle University, which they completed from 2006 to 2007. Prior to this, they obtained another Master's degree in Electronics from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, during the period of 2004 to 2006. Jawad'sundergraduate education includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Hamdard University Pakistan, conferred upon him from 1999 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, Jawad has obtained several certifications in various fields, such as cybersecurity, project management, networking, and strategic planning. Among their certifications, they hold a Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching) certification, which they acquired in February 2009.
