Bharat B Gupta is an accomplished industrial leader with extensive experience spanning several decades. Currently serving as President of JBM Group since 2001, which has achieved $2.2 billion in revenue and operates 60 plants across 10 countries, Gupta has a strong background in project management and business development. Prior to this role, Gupta was the Head of Projects at Escorts Limited from 1998 to 2001, overseeing Pune Projects for Escorts Tractors and serving as CEO of a joint venture with Carraro, Italy. Gupta's earlier career included significant contributions at JBM Group and Escorts Tractors Ltd, where Gupta advanced from a graduate engineer trainee in 1974 to Sr. Manager in Industrial Engineering, playing a vital role in the company’s growth as a leading tractor manufacturer in India. Gupta holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with Honours from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, alongside further education in Industrial Engineering and Project Planning. In recognition of expertise, an honorary PhD in Management (Honoris Causa) was awarded by the Governor of Haryana.
