Mayank Varma is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the automotive tooling industry, currently serving as the Business Head (Group Tooling and Technology) at JBM Group since January 2014. In this role, Mayank oversees India's largest tooling business and directs the Group Technology Vertical, demonstrating strong leadership across various operational aspects, including strategy planning and quality management. Prior to JBM Group, Mayank held the position of Vice President (Engineering) at GESTAMP India, where significant achievements included establishing the Gestamp Engineering Centre and implementing a tailored business model for India. Mayank's early career at Maruti Suzuki India Limited spanned over 16 years, progressing through roles of increasing responsibility, culminating in the Assistant General Manager of the Tool & Die Facility, where key milestones included substantial cost savings and efficiency improvements. Mayank holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Government Engineering College, Jabalpur, and completed the Global Executive Leadership Program at Yale School of Management in 2016.
