Svala Ragnars

Svala Ragnars is a seasoned professional in photography and retouching, currently serving as a Retoucher at JDO Global since December 2024. With a career beginning in 2013 as a Photographer, Svala has gained recognition through widely published and exhibited works, focusing on the interaction between humanity and the environment. Previous roles include Image Creator at BrandOpus and Retoucher for James Murphy Photography, where extensive work was done for major commercial clients such as Tesco and Amazon. Early career experiences include roles as Equipment Account Handler at JJ Media Group and Rental Advisor at The Pro Centre, alongside management responsibilities at Lomography UK. Svala holds an M.A. in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography from the University of the Arts London and a B.A. in Fine Arts from the Iceland Academy of the Arts.
