David Shafto has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. David began their career as the President and CEO of AMS Technical Consultants, Inc., leading a successful electrical controls engineering firm. During their tenure, they implemented high-level automation and techniques, developed plant-wide distributive control system architectures, and created on-line help systems with video instructions for line operations and maintenance.
Following their role at AMS Technical Consultants, Inc., David served as a Senior Project Manager at RA Jones, where they successfully managed projects from 1996 to 2009.
Afterwards, they joined Parsons Corporation as a Senior Project Manager and Department Manager, where they showcased their strong project management skills from 2005 to 2009.
David then transitioned to SSOE Group, where they took on the role of Senior Project Manager. David later became a Project Manager and Startup & Validation Manager, overseeing validation projects for various food process and packaging facilities. David also fulfilled the responsibility of Site Manager, overseeing funding, directing engineering efforts, and managing construction teams for on-site projects. David's time at SSOE Group ranged from 2009 to 2013.
Lastly, they joined Jedson Engineering as a Senior Project Manager and Senior Packaging Engineer in 2014.
David Shafto earned their Associate's Degree in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from the Florida Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1973 to 1974. David later pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Cincinnati, graduating in 1978.
