Rob Travis, P.E., MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Rob began their career at Louis A. Roser Company, where they held multiple roles, including engineer, project manager, controller, and finally, president. As the president, Rob successfully led the company to its most profitable year and oversaw various business operations, including P&L, financial reporting, project management, and business development.
In 2012, Rob joined Cascade Energy, Inc. as a Senior Engineer, where they provided customer-focused energy reduction solutions in the industrial sector. Rob completed numerous energy projects and conducted industrial retro-commissionings across the country, resulting in verified savings of up to 35%. Rob's expertise and experience led to their promotion to Territory Manager, Midwest. In this role, they developed and grew the Midwest territory, expanding the client base and team size from 1 to 8 full-time employees. Rob also created key performance indicators to ensure high-quality and profitable service delivery.
At Cascade Energy, Inc., Rob further advanced to Director positions. As Director of Territory Operations (Midwest), they were directly responsible for strategic initiatives, growth, and overall operations of the Midwest team. Rob oversaw the delivery of three utility DSM programs and introduced a new energy efficiency program that increased customer implementation rate and accelerated technical review processes. In their subsequent role as Director of Business Development (Midwest), they continued to drive growth and develop customer relationships in the region.
Most recently, Rob joined Jedson Engineering as the Operations Manager for the Western Region.
Rob Travis, P.E., MBA, has a diverse education background. Rob obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah, where they studied from 1992 to 1998. Later, they pursued higher education and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Utah between 1998 and 2000.
In addition to their academic achievements, Rob Travis has also obtained several certifications. Rob is a Certified Training Professional, having received training from The Bob Pike Group in April 2016. Rob is also a Professional Engineer (PE), licensed by the State of Utah since October 2011. Moreover, they are certified in CPR/AED/First Aid, having completed the training provided by the American Red Cross in September 2022.
Overall, Rob Travis has a solid educational foundation in both engineering and business, complemented by relevant certifications that enhance their professional capabilities.
